Who we are

Your data reaches FUNKTASTIC SRL (VAT RO36582805), Strada Lipscani 104, Bucharest, Romania. We are the data controller under the GDPR — we decide what gets collected and why, and we answer for it if something goes wrong.

What we take, and why

When you request a quote or send us a shortlist: your name, phone number, email address, whatever notes you write, and the event details if you give them — date, venue, approximate time. We need these to reply with a quote and to check whether we’re free that day. The legal basis is taking steps towards a contract, at your request.

When you subscribe to the newsletter: your email address, nothing else. The basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

When you visit the site: anonymised traffic data through Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity — which pages get read, on what kind of device, how long people stay. We look at it to fix what doesn’t work. The basis is our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used. Details in the cookie policy.

What we don’t do: we don’t ask for data we don’t use, we don’t build profiles, we don’t make automated decisions about you, and we never sell or rent data to anyone. Not even aggregated.

Where it goes

Quote requests and subscriptions pass through a site function into our own internal automation and stop in our own database, on our own server — not in a marketing platform that resells them.

The suppliers who touch the data, each with their role:

• Cloudflare — hosts the site and carries the traffic. Sees IP addresses, as any server does.
• Google (Analytics 4) and Microsoft (Clarity) — traffic statistics.
• Our email provider — when we reply to you, the mail goes through it.

That’s the list. If anyone else ever joins it, this page changes too.

How long we keep it

• Quote requests and correspondence: for as long as the relationship lasts, plus the statutory archiving periods for accounting documents — 10 years for anything tied to invoices and contracts, as Romanian law requires.
• Newsletter subscription: until you unsubscribe. Every email carries the link; it works on the first click.
• Traffic statistics: according to Google’s and Microsoft’s retention, between 2 and 14 months.

What you can ask for

You have the right to know what data we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, to ask us to stop using it, to receive it in a file you can take elsewhere, and to object to processing. You can withdraw consent at any time, without affecting what happened before.

Write to [email protected]. We answer within a month at the latest, usually much sooner, and it’s free.

If we answer badly or not at all, you can complain to the Romanian data protection authority, ANSPDCP, Bd. G-ral. Gheorghe Magheru 28-30, Bucharest, dataprotection.ro. We’d rather sort it out with you directly, but the right is yours.

Children

This site is for people organising events, so for adults. We don’t knowingly collect children’s data. If you believe we hold any, tell us and we’ll delete it.

When this page changes

The date at the top is the last change. If we change something that matters — what we collect, why, or who receives it — we won’t rely on you coming back to check: we announce it on the site and, if you’re subscribed, by email.
