The children's half is easiest to solve with the colourful mascots and the characters that let themselves be hugged: Colourful Inflatable Mascots, the butterflies, Party Hoppers. The magician is the only act that keeps them seated for twenty minutes straight, so it belongs on the running order exactly when the main course goes out. For the adults, a welcome character at the door does the same job it does at a wedding: it fills the waiting and lands in the photos.
Giant soap bubbles are the most requested christening act, for a practical reason: they work with no stage, no music and without asking anyone to be quiet. The caricaturist works the same way — one table, and people come to him on their own and leave with something for the fridge. Tell us how many children there are and how old they are; everything else follows from that.
