DN1 Value Centre — Seasonal Activations
Candy Guards, Drummers, Gingerbread Men and Transformers, moving through an open-air centre on the DN1, season after season.
An open-air centre
on a national road
DN1 Value Centre is an open-air site stretched along the road to the mountains. People come in, buy and leave. Keeping them there takes reasons along the way, not one moment on a stage. And in winter, outdoors, the cold cuts any static act short anyway.
Characters moving
through the whole centre
We built themed seasonal line-ups, mostly for Christmas: Candy Guards on stilts, the red and white soldiers, Santa's Drummers, Gingerbread Men, the Penguin and the Red Bauble. Plus elves on stilts and Mirror Men through the gallery. By the tree, LED costume moments and a Transformers show with Optimus and Bumblebee. The characters moved across the whole site, so the atmosphere reached every corner.

A full Christmas cast
Candy Guards, Drummers, Gingerbread Men, the Penguin and the Red Bauble, characters covering the whole holiday register, out of a single warehouse.
-
Stilts for a wide site
In an open-air centre, a character on the ground disappears into the crowd. On stilts, you see them from the car park to the tree.
-
Transformers show by the tree
Optimus and Bumblebee, costumes built in our own workshop, used as a stage moment and as a walk-around through the gallery in the same afternoon.
-
A partner from day one
We were there from the 2019 opening and came back for more than 15 events since, at every season that mattered.
One supplier
for the entire seasonal programme
All the costumes and robots come from our own inventory, and the team worked inside the centre's own schedule. As direct producers, we changed the line-up from one edition to the next with no production lead times, using performers who already knew the route through the gallery.
The film „DN1 Value Centre had us there from opening day and called us back for every holiday season since."
