Delia & Macanache — Symphony of Lights
Glowing characters on stilts and a choreography of light, in a packed public square, right before Delia and Macanache took the stage.
A packed square,
one shot at the opening
An opening act has one job: lift the crowd before the headliners walk on. In Constanța the public square was full and the moment was going out live on Digi24. The act had to work at the scale of a huge crowd and hold up on camera at the same time.
Glowing characters
and a choreography of light
We built a Symphony of Lights show: glowing characters on stilts, with choreography scaled to a full square. Height solved the first problem, since they read from the back of the crowd as well as the front. Light solved the second: after dark, the costumes were the one thing that stayed clear, on stage and on screen.

Visible from the back rows
Stilts lift the character above the crowd. In a full square, that is the difference between a moment the front rows see and one everyone sees.

Choreography built around light
The glowing costumes ran on a synchronised routine, designed as a show in its own right rather than a backdrop for the stage.

Built for the broadcast too
The act aired on Digi24. Lit outlines read cleanly on camera at night, where a matte costume would have disappeared into the black.

scaled to the concert
The costumes and stilts were already ours, so the act was built around the mood of the night rather than a production deadline. As direct producers, we matched the choreography and the number of characters to the size of the stage and the square, with one team behind all of it.
