Transformers Show — Hype Arena
Optimus Prime and Bumblebee at full scale, in the middle of a gaming arena, at a birthday the whole room joined.
A private party
in a room still open
The birthday guest wanted something other than the standard party, and Hype Arena stayed open to its regular customers throughout. The act had to land with two audiences at once: his table, and the people who came in to game and had nothing to do with the birthday. An act played to one table would have gone unnoticed in the rest of the room.
Optimus Prime and Bumblebee, mid-arena
Transformers Show: two large-scale robots, out in the middle of the arena where everyone could see them. The format fits a gaming crowd — the characters are known, they move big, and they let anyone walking past take a photo. The birthday guest got his moment and the rest of the room got their phones out. The robots worked the whole arena, from his table to the gaming stations.

-
Robots at full scale
The Transformers costumes carry the bulk of a real robot — visible from the far end of the arena, over the gaming stations.
-
Two performers, two characters
Optimus Prime and Bumblebee came out together, so the act played as a scene between two characters rather than a single appearance.
-
Everything from our inventory
The costumes were already built in our workshop, so the act came together with no production lead time.
Robots from our inventory,
fitted to the room
The Transformers costumes are ours, so they arrived ready to perform, with no production lead time. We fitted the appearance to the space between the gaming stations and to the mood of the arena: short entrances, a route through the room, a stop at every group that wanted a photo. When the costume is yours, you adapt it on the spot.
The film „By the end the whole arena was around Optimus and Bumblebee — a private moment the entire room got to keep."
