A whole boulevard
to keep alive
Calea Victoriei closed to traffic, filled with families, children and tourists walking from one end to the other. A single act, however good, covers one intersection. The event needed different characters on every corner, for hours, along the full length of the boulevard — a scale few can cover with their own performers.
Over 80 performers
along the whole boulevard
Over 80 Elevarts performers, at the same time, along all of Calea Victoriei. Period living statues, 1900 couples, shoe shiners, paparazzi, musketeers, pirates, stilt walkers, 8 colourful giant puppets, Cascade Flowers, jugglers, unicyclists and mimes. For Children's Day we brought out storybook costumes, plus Mickey, Minnie, Daisy, Iron Man, Olaf and Elsa. A few of these formats we invented for this event: the shoe shiners, the paparazzi and the period living statues.

All from our own team, along the full length of Calea Victoriei at the same time — a parade that covers a boulevard, not one intersection.

Production in under two weeks
The period costumes and the storybook outfits were cut in our workshop between the booking and the edition, in under 14 days.

Eight colourful giant puppets
The eight oversized puppets were built specifically for this event, not hired in from anywhere else.

Characters built in-house,
in under two weeks
Inventory was not the answer here. Many of the characters were built in our own workshop, in under two weeks: the period costumes the theme called for, the storybook outfits for Children's Day, and the eight colourful giant puppets. As direct producers we built to order exactly what each edition asked for, at a pace you cannot hit buying off the shelf.
