Johnnie Walker × Nostalgia
A living statue in a gold suit with a cane — the Johnnie Walker image, brought down among the Nostalgia crowd.
The brand identity,
out among the crowd
Johnnie Walker wanted a presence at Nostalgia, a packed festival where brands usually live on banners and tents. It had to be recognisable on sight, with nothing to explain, and hold up for six hours a day, two days running, with the crowd arriving in waves.
A gold suit
and a cane
A living statue performer, in a gold suit with a cane: the Johnnie Walker image placed in the middle of the festival. The statue held still until a crowd gathered, then came to life and played with the people around it. One performer a day, six hours of presence, Friday and Saturday. The gold read from a distance, and the cane made the link to the brand with no banner next to it.

-
A costume built from scratch
The gold suit and the cane were made in our workshop for Johnnie Walker, not adapted from an existing costume.
-
Six hours a day, two days
On Friday and Saturday, one performer held the character for six hours, with short breaks, across the festival grounds.
-
Gold on the brand identity
The colour and the silhouette with the cane were chosen to point straight at Johnnie Walker, with no logo stuck on the costume.
The gold suit,
built from scratch
The gold suit and the cane were made by us, from scratch, specifically for Johnnie Walker. It is not an inventory costume dressed up for a brand, it is one cut to that brand's image. As direct producers we built exactly the concept asked for and had it ready for both days of the activation.
„Johnnie Walker had a character built for that brand alone, drawing a crowd around it two days running at Nostalgia."
