McDonald's — Restaurant Activation
Two stilt performers in costumes built to the brand's colours, welcoming customers at the restaurant door.
An ordinary day
that looked like an event
The restaurant wanted a day you could see from the street: people walking in because something was happening inside. And the act had to look like the brand, not like a generic costume rented for an afternoon. Customers recognise McDonald's at a glance, so anything approximate would have shown immediately.
Two stilt performers,
right at the door
Two stilt performers held the entrance all day: greeting customers, stopping for photos, talking to the kids. The costumes were made in the brand's colours, so the silhouette read from the first step in the car park. At that height you don't need to announce anything — people slow down on their own, pull out a phone and walk in to see what's going on.
-
Cut from scratch
The costumes did not come from inventory. We sewed them specifically for this activation, in the brand's colours, in our own workshop.
-
Visible from the car park
On stilts, the performers stand above the cars and above the crowd at the door. No banner needed to pull eyes.
-
People stopping for photos
Interaction was half the job: kids looking up, phones out, photos taken right in front of the restaurant.
The costumes never came
out of storage
Nothing came off the shelf. We cut and sewed the costumes from scratch for this activation, in McDonald's colours, in our own workshop. That is the difference between a direct producer and a middleman: the tailoring happens in house, so a client who wants characters in their own identity gets exactly what they need, not whatever happens to be free.
