Two performers, four different LED costumes across two winter days, plus a stage moment during Pascal Junior's set.
Light that holds up
on a mountain night
SLANiK runs in winter in Slănic-Moldova, with an outdoor stage and an audience standing in cold and snow. Across two days of programming, the same look would have worn thin quickly. It needed costumes that read on a mountain night and performers who could handle the temperatures.
Four different looks
across two days
Two performers rotated four costume registers: two Octopus, two Mini LED Tail, two White Angels and two LED Corsets. Each has a different silhouette and a different amount of light, so the crowd saw something new at every appearance. In the LED Corsets, they also went on stage during Pascal Junior's set.

Four LED costumes in rotation
Octopus, Mini LED Tail, White Angels and LED Corsets: four different amounts of light, chosen by the hour and by the spot in the festival.

On stage with Pascal Junior
In the LED Corsets, the performers went up during Pascal Junior's set as part of the show, not as decoration.

Costumes prepared for the cold
We checked them for snow and sub-zero temperatures before the trip to Slănic-Moldova, so the LEDs would hold across both days.
Changing register
with no production lead time
All four costumes were already in our inventory, so switching register took the time between two appearances, not the time between two months. We maintain them ourselves, from the LEDs and batteries to the tailoring, and prepared them for the cold before the trip to Bacău.
